The King is Street Racer's individual competitive ranking. Each season lasts 7 days: valid multiplayer races and direct challenges build your score.
BEING FIRST IS NOT ENOUGH: YOU MUST QUALIFY
To receive the crown when the season ends, you must have completed at least 10 valid races and faced at least 5 different opponents.

Complete enough valid multiplayer races during the season.
5 OPPONENTS
The ranking rewards Racers who truly compete against different opponents.
THERE ARE NO FIXED POINTS ANYMORE
The standings use a dynamic KING Rating based on Elo. Every Racer starts at 1000: after a multiplayer race or direct challenge, rating changes according to the result and opponent strength.
In races, every result is compared with all opponents using their pre-race rating. Beating stronger Racers is worth more; DNFs, retirements and disconnects after the start negatively affect rating.
In direct challenges, winner and loser receive opposite Elo changes based on their starting ratings. A normally completed challenge counts for both Racers toward the 5 distinct opponents requirement.
END THE WEEK AHEAD OF EVERYONE
At the end of the 7 days, the qualified Racer with the highest KING Rating becomes the new King. The next season restarts from the base rating of 1000: the crown must be defended week after week.
